From the "B" sides. Out of the "cut out" bin. Hmmm, something must have clicked a switch? Nope, I've come to see it was HARD Wired into me. Hey, somebody obviously thought it a good idea. There must have been a good reason, right? Not always. It was more often than not a BAD idea for the wrong reason. Grist for the mill. There's a kind of sick satisfaction that comes from listening to Bad IDEAS expressed wrongly.
Who is it that's out of step? I who freely admit that there is a gleaming superhighway, endlessly hurrying to a destination or those who insist it to be the way of all things? Off the beaten path, two-lane blacktop backroads rather than super-highways. Roads that often require you to head east in order to get west, south to go north? Where uncertainty is ever your co-pilot? Is this a significant self-revelation? Nah, I was always different. Whatever it takes, however long it takes, using anything at hand. If something tugs back, determined to do it their way, let go. Move on. There's enough to go around and that part must have been important to somebody else. Good luck with that. As long as you don't insist that I join your nomadic gyspy caravan, it's all good.
